Kyokushin Nationals 2009

I would like to congratulate all 15 competitors of Extreme Kyokushin Karate Melbourne on their wonderful performance at the Sydney IKO National Tournament 2009. EKK managed to bring back to Melbourne many trophies which included:
five 1st place positions, one 2nd place position, and three 3rd place positions:

1st: Fil Kasimis (Mens Heavy Weight Open Novice)
1st: Kris Kasimis (Mens Colts Middle Weight)
1st: Brad Filiadis (Mens Colts Light Weight)
1st: Rebecca Filiadis (Womens Junior Colts)

2nd: Caroline Launder (Adults Kata Competition)

3rd: Raphael Vavitis (Kids Open Full Contact)
3rd: Kai Natsume (Kids Open Full Contact)
3rd: Jason Dawes (Mens Open Middle Weight Novice)
I would also like to congratulate all other EKK members who did place but were not awarded with trophies due to the fights being round robins etc.
